Hi! I’m Timothy Koh. I’m a Singaporean theatre director. From 2022-2026, I was Associate Director of Pangdemonium Theatre Company in Singapore.
My directing spans modern classics, new plays, and musicals. Some favourites include: Come From Away; Singapore, Michigan; Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?; and Doubt: A Parable. I have received two nominations for Best Director and one for Production of the Year at the ST Life Theatre Awards.
I’m a National Arts Council Cultural Fellow, and have taught and directed at LASALLE College of the Arts.
I trained at NYU, where I received a BFA in Theatre and BA in English and American Literature. My early career was spent assistant directing at various American nonprofits such as Lincoln Center Theatre and Manhattan Theatre Club.
Outside of theatre, I enjoy watching films, reading literature, and investigative longform journalism. I also love a solid cocktail.
